This product is a special housing element made of high-strength nodular cast iron for agricultural machinery. The body is made by one-piece sand casting from high-strength nodular cast iron. Supplied as a cast piece without machining and paint coating. The design is made in the form of a snail-type transition body. Mounting bosses and mounting supports are provided on the outside, providing precise bases for subsequent machining - turning, drilling, threading.
The casting is subjected to heat treatment - tempering to relieve internal stresses. The microstructure of the metal is homogeneous, dense, without gas holes, cracks, shrinkage holes and other defects that affect the tightness. The product has high vibration resistance, impact resistance and wear resistance, which allows it to be used in harsh operating conditions of agricultural machinery with vibrations and high loads.
This workpiece can be subjected to fine machining for the manufacture of fan housings, pump housings, gearbox housings and other critical power and transmission parts. The product is adapted for tractors, irrigation pumps, plant protection products and other types of agricultural equipment.
