The external ground fire hydrant is shockproof with pressure regulation and is modernized on the basis of the standard shockproof model. It retains all the advantages of the basic version and is complemented by the function of adjusting water pressure, which allows you to work with fluctuations in pressure in the pipeline network. A throttle-reduction unit is installed inside; the internal elements are driven by water pressure from the network and open in stages. The water flow first passes through the primary reducing channel, with a delay the secondary regulating channel opens, providing a stepwise reduction and stabilization of the outlet pressure. This eliminates water loss at high pressure and lack of pressure to extinguish fires at low pressure.
The product has reliable shockproof protection: if the body breaks due to a vehicle impact, the internal valve instantly shuts off the water supply without leaks, and the operation of other hydrants in the network is not disrupted. Replacement of damaged parts is possible under operating pressure, maintenance is simple and inexpensive. The built-in automatic drainage system for residual water prevents freezing, suitable for cold regions in the northern part of the country.
