This grooved straight tee is a specialized fitting for branches in grooved pipeline systems. The full range of standard sizes covers the range from DN50 to DN250 (corresponding to the outer diameter of the pipe Φ60–Φ273 mm), including equal straight tees and the most popular reducing tees of small and medium diameters. Tees are available for two classes of working pressure: 1.6 MPa and 2.5 MPa. Compatible with groove bends, couplings and reducers of the same series for complex installation.
The tee body is made of high-strength nodular cast iron QT450-12 according to the current edition of the national standard GB5135.11 (replacing the outdated edition of 2006), and at the same time complies with the American standard ASTM-A536. Castings are characterized by high density, resistance to pressure and vibration loads. O-rings are available in two types: EPDM for fire protection systems and food grade silicone rubber for potable water systems, meeting ISO6182 and GB/T17219 requirements. The rings ensure tightness and durability, and are resistant to leaks. Grade 8.8 fastening bolts and nuts are manufactured from 45# or 40Cr steel with a hot-dip galvanized coating in accordance with current government fastener standards.
The outer surface of the fittings is treated with electrostatic spraying of epoxy powder with high temperature polymerization. Outdated and canceled standards for paint and varnish coatings have been replaced by current editions. The coating is environmentally friendly, non-toxic, provides anti-corrosion protection and moisture resistance, and is suitable for fire extinguishing systems and drinking water supply. Packaging is carried out in accordance with the GB/T191 standard: for standard sizes Φ60–Φ219, corrugated cardboard containers are used, for large diameters from Φ273 and above - packaging in bundles with strapping, which provides reliable protection during storage and transportation.
The tee is installed using groove couplings - the connection does not require welding or threading, eliminating fire hazards. The product is widely used for installing branches of fire sprinkler systems in high-rise buildings, for distributing drinking and sewer water supplies, as well as for branches in heating and ventilation circulation systems. The products are supplied with a full set of test reports and fire safety certificates.
