This product is a cast iron front axle steering knuckle for agricultural machinery. The fist is made by one-piece sand casting from high-strength nodular cast iron. The base is made with widening and reinforcement; there are stiffening ribs on the sides that increase structural strength. There is a stepped mounting hole at the top to ensure precise installation of bearings and seals. The outer surface is painted with black anti-corrosion paint to protect against moisture and dirt in the field.
The casting is subjected to heat treatment - annealing to relieve internal stresses. The structure of the metal is dense and homogeneous, without gas holes, cracks, shrinkage holes and other defects. The product is highly resistant to shock loads when working in off-road conditions, as well as excellent wear resistance and pressure resistance, which allows it to be used in harsh conditions of long-term operation of agricultural machinery.
This unit is used in crop residue shredders, irrigation pumps, seeders, tractor transmissions and other types of agricultural equipment. The cam serves as a reliable support for rotating transmission shafts and during further assembly is equipped with bearing units, ensuring stability and smooth operation of the transmission.
