The fast-acting sprinkler model K-ZST, compared to the standard T-ZST sprinkler, has the main advantage of increased thermal sensitivity. The temperature-sensitive element is much more sensitive and responds much faster when heated. With a slight increase in temperature at the initial stage of the fire, the sprinkler instantly reacts and begins to supply water. Watering starts at the stage of low fire, promptly restraining the spread of the flame and simplifying the extinguishing process. Compared to conventional models, the response time is shorter, the water consumption for extinguishing is lower, the flame is effectively localized. In real conditions, rapid localization of the source slows down the spread of the fire, reduces the risk of injuries and burns to people at the site. The time for water supply is reduced, the area of fire damage is reduced, and severe flooding with water and property damage is eliminated. The total material losses from exposure to fire and water are reduced.
