This groove mechanical cross refers to fittings for branching from a groove pipeline by drilling a hole directly into the pipe without cutting it. Unlike a threaded mechanical cross, this type is equipped with a standard groove connection at the outlet, which allows you to connect the branch directly through the groove coupling without the use of threaded adapters. Installation does not require cutting the main pipe - it is enough to make an exact hole in the pipe wall, secure the cross using arched clamps that tightly enclose the pipe, and ensure the tightness of the drilling site using the built-in O-ring.
The product is manufactured by solid casting, which ensures high structural strength and the ability to withstand operating pressure up to 2.5 MPa in fire extinguishing systems. Full coating with epoxy powder by electrostatic spraying provides resistance to moisture, acid and alkali corrosion, allowing the cross to be used in a wide range of conditions - indoors, outdoors and underground. Due to the absence of the need to cut pipes and carry out welding work, installation is significantly accelerated when reconstructing fire extinguishing systems, expanding water supply and sewerage networks. The cross is widely used in upgrading fire protection systems of high-rise buildings, expanding pipeline networks of industrial facilities, as well as adding branches in water supply and drainage systems of production workshops. The product is fully compatible with all sizes of galvanized steel pipes according to national standards.
