This product is a cast iron front axle end cover for agricultural machinery. The lid is made by one-piece sand casting from high-strength nodular cast iron. The product is made in the form of an octagonal flange structure. There are mounting bosses on the surface for precise fixation during assembly. In the central part there is a cylindrical hole with a collar designed for installing bearings and shafts. The outer surface is treated with a base anti-corrosion coating.
The casting is subjected to heat treatment - annealing to relieve internal stresses. The structure of the metal is dense and homogeneous, without gas holes, cracks, shrinkage holes and other defects. The product is highly resistant to pressure, shock loads, and corrosion when exposed to dirt and moisture in field conditions. The cover is designed for long-term operation under constant vibration loads.
This unit is used in irrigation pumps, crop residue shredders, fertilizer application equipment, tractor transmissions and other types of agricultural machinery. The cover serves as a sealing element and a protective support for the shafts.
