Tajikistan has enormous water resources; the development of hydropower is a priority direction for the country's economic development. Intensive construction work is underway on a large project - the Rogun hydroelectric power station. The government plans to increase the installed capacity of hydroelectric power plants to 10 thousand MW by 2030 and become a major exporter of electricity to Central Asian countries.
The construction of large hydroelectric power plants requires a large volume of pipeline systems: water intake, outlet and fire communications. Due to their resistance to high loads and ease of installation, comb fittings are widely used in hydraulic engineering facilities. The Government of Tajikistan is encouraging the adoption of modern pipe connection technologies to improve the quality of construction work and reduce project completion times, creating favorable market conditions for comb fittings.
